Lucerne, the heart of Switzerland. #SnowySwitzerland2021 #Episode5

:: All Posts ::, Featured Articles, TRAVEL

Lucerne was our last leg of our one-week winter holiday in Switzerland.

We spent 4 days 3 nights base in this beautiful city and it is easily a city I would recommend over Zurich to be based at if you are exploring Switzerland by train. Centrally located, Lucerne itself is interesting with its own attractions and pretty sights.

We made a couple of day-trips from here including to Mount Titlis for another round of fun snow activities.

The vlog video (scroll below) is a bit long but it covers some of the must-see attractions in Luzern, the Swiss Transport Museum and Engelberg / Mount Titlis activities.

Some photos from my phone and camera of Lucerne.

The Kapellbrücke, yes I struggle at pronouncing it correctly each time .
Plenty of nice spots for photos.
See what I mean when I say Lucerne is pretty?
The Lion Monument
The Transportation Museum
One huge section each for every mode of transportation – space, air, land, rail and sea.

One disadvantage of winter travel is the daytime is short so by 6pm there are not much to see as far as tourist attractions and shops are concern. But it is a nice excuse to do some night photography of the city.

My vlog of Lucerne and surrounding attractions including Mount Titlis:
