Part 6: Review: Cervantes Lodge & Pinnacles Desert Backpackers Hostel
This is a short post to share some info about this convenient and beautiful place that we stayed in Cervantes. WA. Strategically located in the heart of Cervantes town, the Cervantes Lodge & Pinnacles Desert Backpackers Hostel is one of the few lodges available for tourists visiting the nearby Pinnacles Desert or on a road trip along the Indian Ocean Drive.
We wanted to have the privacy of our own shower/toilet facilities so we chose the Deluxe family rooms with ocean views. Great deal via Agoda and we enjoyed the clean and spacious room though having an empty double decker bed inside the room is quite funny. I would highly recommend those travelling in group of more than 3 people to consider this option. Great for families too.
View from our room.
What is equally great about this lodge is its full set of kitchen facilities which is good news for cost-conscious travelers (read: kedekut) like us 🙂 We had a nice Nasi Lemak and Rendang Brahims dinner and breakfast here.
Common lounge area which is nice for those staying in dorms as well as a good place to catch up with other travelers after a long day of sightseeing.
Outside “lepak” area
Nicely maintained landscaping around the lodge. Would be nicer to visit during the wild-flowers season which i’m sure will be surrounded by nice colors.
Tourist info – all you need to know about Cervantes, Pinnacles and other attractions along the Indian Ocean Drive.
Overall, i would give this place a 4.5 out of 5.0. Would be nice if they throw in a free wifi access for premium rooms but then for one-night we survived without being able to connect to the cyber world 🙂

Wow, bestnya nampak tempat ni. Especially tang dapur tu, memang boleh jimat banyak.
Brahim packed meals boleh lepas food quarantine ye ? Planning to go Perth in August but heard a lot of stories that food especially chicken and beef tak boleh bawa masuk Australia. Ada special trick required ke ?
Not sure whether we were just lucky but Alhamdulillah, we declared and showed to them the english label on the packaging and it was ok.
