Hope everyone is making the most of Ramadhan, insyaAllah.<\/p>\n<p>This week I\u2019m going to complete my final 3 posts of the \u201clong overdue\u201d Kyoto and Osaka Trip posts. To recap on my previous #KyotoAkuDatang post, head on to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.azuanzahdi.com\/index.php\/2013\/12\/25\/osaka-kyoto-2013-teaser-and-directory\/\">this page<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Osaka city was our final pit stop before heading back to KL. Our \u201cmain meal\u201d of the trip was Kyoto and we love our 2.5 days in Kyoto so Osaka was more of relax, dine and shop kind of destination for us. Don\u2019t get me wrong, Osaka has hundreds of tourists attractions from castles to temples but we had enough of sightseeing after Kyoto and decided to just take it easy.<br \/>\nNevertheless we did utilise our free passes to check out two attractions in Osaka \u2014 the Osaka Castle and Umeda Sky Building.<br \/>\nOsaka Castle is one of the most famous landmarks of Osaka. It is so famous that you would most probably see a picture of Osaka Castle on many tourism collaterals promoting the city. We went there early in the morning to enjoy the nice walking weather.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.azuanzahdi.com\/wp-content\/\/1102.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3824 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.azuanzahdi.com\/wp-content\/\/1102.jpg\" alt=\"1\" width=\"900\" height=\"598\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.azuanzahdi.com\/wp-content\/1102.jpg 900w, https:\/\/www.azuanzahdi.com\/wp-content\/1102-300x199.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Osaka Castle, the original structure built in 1583 but was destroyed, rebuilt, caught fire, rebuilt, destroyed and finally in 1931 present ferro-concrete reconstruction of the castle tower was built.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.azuanzahdi.com\/wp-content\/\/268.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3825 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.azuanzahdi.com\/wp-content\/\/268.jpg\" alt=\"2\" width=\"900\" height=\"598\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.azuanzahdi.com\/wp-content\/268.jpg 900w, https:\/\/www.azuanzahdi.com\/wp-content\/268-300x199.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Head on to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.japan-guide.com\/e\/e4000.html\">Japan-Guide<\/a> for history of Osaka Castle.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.azuanzahdi.com\/wp-content\/\/336.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3826 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.azuanzahdi.com\/wp-content\/\/336.jpg\" alt=\"3\" width=\"900\" height=\"506\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.azuanzahdi.com\/wp-content\/336.jpg 900w, https:\/\/www.azuanzahdi.com\/wp-content\/336-300x168.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Osaka Castle tower can be accessed from different sides so make sure you get off at the right train station to avoid long walk. We learn that the hard way! A blend of greenery, skyscrapers and ancient building is always nice to have in modern cities.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.azuanzahdi.com\/wp-content\/\/619.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3829 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.azuanzahdi.com\/wp-content\/\/619.jpg\" alt=\"6\" width=\"900\" height=\"598\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.azuanzahdi.com\/wp-content\/619.jpg 900w, https:\/\/www.azuanzahdi.com\/wp-content\/619-300x199.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>For those that love unique manhole covers, plenty of different ones can be seen in this area.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.azuanzahdi.com\/wp-content\/\/720.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3830 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.azuanzahdi.com\/wp-content\/\/720.jpg\" alt=\"7\" width=\"900\" height=\"597\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.azuanzahdi.com\/wp-content\/720.jpg 900w, https:\/\/www.azuanzahdi.com\/wp-content\/720-300x199.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s a fee to enter the museum inside the castle\u2019s tower but it is part of most sightseeing\/travel\/train passes. I wanted to have a glimpse at Osaka\u2019s skyscrapers and the urban side of the city so we went on to Umeda Sky Building.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.azuanzahdi.com\/wp-content\/\/1220.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3835 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.azuanzahdi.com\/wp-content\/\/1220.jpg\" alt=\"12\" width=\"598\" height=\"900\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.azuanzahdi.com\/wp-content\/1220.jpg 598w, https:\/\/www.azuanzahdi.com\/wp-content\/1220-199x300.jpg 199w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 598px) 100vw, 598px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Famous for its unique architectural design, this 12th tallest building in Osaka is worth a visit if you love tall and modern structures.
