For the final two nights of our stay in Osaka, we chose Dotonbori Hotel<\/a><\/strong> based on few reasons. As always our first deciding factor would be price. Generally hotels in Japan are expensive and tiny. Rooms at Dotonbori Hotel are small but their prices are quite competitive as we were able to secure an average of RM200++ per night. Second factor was its location. Walking distance to Namba Station and Dotonbori (click here<\/a> to read my previous post on Dotonbori), it makes perfect sense to choose this hotel as we were able to go in and out of the hotel room easily throughout the day in-between our sightseeing activities for quick rest, toilet break and prayers.<\/p>\n

Oh by the way, the hotel also claims to be \u201cmuslim friendly\u201d as they can provide prayer mat, kiblat compass, halal-dish (based on request, not all), etc. Something that we only discovered after our trip! Nevertheless, it\u2019s quite rare to see a hotel anywhere to go the extra-mile to be \u201cmuslim friendly\u201d so I highly recommend this Dotonbori Hotel<\/a>. I\u2019m not alone as many other travellers recommend the same making this hotel ranked #7 on tripadvisor out of 247 hotels in Osaka. Can\u2019t go wrong with that!
\nHere are some shots that I took of Dotonbori Hotel.<\/p>\n

1) The landmark of Dotonbori Hotel is its hotel front, head carvings on the pillars or whatever you call it!<\/p>\n

2) Even those who do not stay at this hotel would make an effort to stop and pose in front of these stone heads.<\/p>\n

The lobby of the hotel is quite interesting. Free hot drinks, free limited minutes of international calls, free ramen at certain hours, free wifi and lots of comfy seats.<\/p>\n

3) Our room \u2014 super single bed, enough space for our bags.<\/p>\n

\"3\"<\/a><\/p>\n

4) Clean, neat and attention to details.<\/p>\n

\"4\"<\/a><\/p>\n

5) The cute bathroom\/toilet.<\/p>\n

\"6\"<\/a><\/p>\n

6) Shisheido products, nothing less.<\/p>\n

\"7\"<\/a><\/p>\n

7) The whole room has access to hi-speed internet, faster than my unifi at home \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

8) No device to connect to the Internet? No worries.<\/p>\n

9) Attention to details. Awesome.<\/p>\n
