This section will keep track of past and future fan activities organised by Nicol David Online. We plan to have monthly activities ranging from online chatting, get-together sessions, design of birthday gift for Nicol David, participate in squash and sports events in Malaysia and of course one day we hope to have an exclusive session with Miss Nicol David herself!

April 2008

a) Activity: Beijing 2008 Olympic Torch Relay

Nicol David and other sports personalities of Malaysia will be carrying the torch around KL for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Torch Relay. The relay will begin at Dataran Merdeka with a simple opening ceremony, with the torch bearers running to Merdeka Stadium, before passing through many significant buildings in the city. The relay will be passing Wisma OCM, City Hall Building, Parliament House, National Museum, National Mosque, Old Central Railway Station, Chinese Assembly Hall, Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) and KL Tower befire reaching Merdeka Stadium, according to the itinerary of the run released by the Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM).

After a short recess at Merdeka Stadium, the relay will head to KL Tower, where the Torch will be taken to the top of the Tower for a scenic aerial view of the Tower before moving on to the KLCC.

If any of the fans from the website can attend the run (stand at the roadside), do take lots of photos of Nicol David carrying the torch and share with us!

a) Activity: Fans Meet-up Teh Tarik Session

We are organizing a Teh Tarik Get-Together session to plan for future activities. Tentatively it will be held in the afternoon of 17th May 2008 in Starbucks The Curve. Interested to join? Drop us a line at our Fan Forum

b) Activity: "Live Session" Dunlop British Open, Liverpool, England

Join the ecxitement of watching the "Live Session" together with other fans over the Internet. Make comments at our Fan Forum while watching the game.

July 2008

a) Activity: Fans Meet-up at CIMB Malaysian Open

We are organizing a Teh Tarik Get-Together session followed by watching and supporting Nicol's game throughout the tournament. Tentatively we would like to get as many people as possible, wear the same shirt color, bring along some small banners and posters and Malaysian flags. Interested to join?
