2010 – Another Challenging Year

2010 – Another Challenging Year

Alhamdulillah 2009 was a great year. I got what I want and achieved many things that were unexpected.

These are some of my 2010 targets.

Career

a) To survive the new working environment (yes I have left water industry and now I’m doing transformation management in one of the GLCs)

b) To develop my managerial and leadership skills

c) To build up my teaching portfolio (I’ve started part-time lecturing in UiTM teaching IT and International Business)

Travel and Adventure

d) Plan and execute the Mount Kinabalu Challenge 2010!

e) Travel to Kelantan, the only state in Malaysia I have never been to.

f) Overseas trip – China in June with buddies and hopefully an Umrah trip with wife and her family

g) A train ride adventure to experience the scenic journey to the east coast

h) A romantic escapade at Pangkor Laut / Vernaza (my dream la!)

Blogging / Web Projects

i) To have one new thematic blog / blogging for a corporate client.

j) to transfer Nicol David Online to its individual server that supports the new design

k) to continue my Firefly blogging experience~! Hoping to fly to all Firefly destinations within 2010

l) To double up my Nuffnang income

Health

m) To be 73kg at December 2010

n) To pick up back Tennis

o) To swim at least 3 times a week!

Fun

p) to learn how to cook at least one meal

q) to start re-considering taking my Private Pilot Licence lessons!

r) To save RM30k within a year to spend on all the above!

On top of all these are of course my ‘it goes without saying resolutions’ such as religious obligations, family commitments and also the grand resolution of bringing my family together. Some resolutions shall remain private and personal but I am all set and bullish for a great year 2010!
