Weekend is always a good time for me to eat out after a week of having most of my meals either in the office’s eateries or at home. Last weekend, I brought Jiji out to celebrate her being a student again (she’s starting her MBA courses soon). This time we decided to try Maharaj, a nice medium end Indian cuisine.
It was previously located in other places but now it has found a new ‘home; in a nice bungalow in Jalan Gasing, PJ.

The specialty of this particular restaurant is of course it’s well designed interior and decoration. Aimed at bringing its visitors a journey through arts, culture and cuisine of India, the restaurant has unique features on its walls and furniture making it a quite romantic and pleasant place to eat for a special function.

Dubbed as “Original Indian Food” it offers a range of Indian food from all parts of India. This is a plus point
as some Indian restaurant I’ve been to focus only on certain food from a particular part of India.
The menu

The real food.
Starting with Poppadoms

We ordered my favourite Indian dish, Palak Paneer. Fish Masala and Squid Kali Mirchi and Basmathi Rice.

Along with Mango Juice and Mango Lassi

We enjoyed the meals very much and it’s less than RM100. As a matter of fact, slightly higher than RM50++

Maharaja…

We definitely coming again to Maharaj in the future. Fore more details and location click here.
which one is the palak paneer lah…

you should snap a closer look and details on the food. dari kejauhan nampak macam sedap, tapi jauhnyaaa, tak dapat nak menikmati dengan sepenuhnya hehe.
but i gotta say the atmosphere looks nice and exclusive. from the outside, it seems just like a normal house! ada untung ke depa ni? hehe. just kidding.
Tu la… i still tgh belajar ambik gambar food from your blog. You’re the expert
It’s low light and i left my flash (lagipun malu la nak bawak banyak2 benda2 camera gi makan) so most of my zoom photos are kantoi, goyang hehehe
aah ade untung ke diorg ni?
