Coming Soon: Firefly @ AzuanZahdi.com

Dear Guests of AzuanZahdi.com,

Thank you for visiting azuanzahdi.com, my ‘little online playground’. From a humble beginning back in 2004, my blog has progressed a bit from simply ‘about me’ to include reviews on things that I enjoy in my everyday life. Although I have not been able to write as often as I planned to, I believe my posts especially over the last 1-year have been helpful to some of my guests (visitors and followers).

Just to share some facts, AzuanZahdi.com on average receives about 100 hits a day from about 50 unique visitors. Each day visitors consists of my blog’s loyal followers and visitors who searched many keywords. Below are 5 top keywords/posts for my blog for the last 6 months:

a) Firefly Airline / Firefly Review

b) Manukan Island / Kota Kinabalu Travel

c) Bali Trip

d) Nicol Ann David

e) Weddings in Shah Alam

These have been the ‘reason’s why people stumbled my blog. The face-lift that the blog had few months back did some magic to the number of repeating visitors as many find it easier to navigate the contents with this new ‘magazine-style’ look. I thank all of you for the feedbacks and comments. My next goal is to have more loyal visitors and have more comments on my blog!

And one of the ways to achieve this goal, starting from next week, I’ll be writing a series of thematic review focusing on my favorite airline, Firefly Airline. It’s no secret that my passion is in aviation and being a frequent traveler with Firefly, I would like to begin a series of 10 weekly articles covering on the Airline. This month alone, not less than 100 visitors came to my website looking for info and reviews on Firefly, hence I find the topic to be interesting for me and the visitors. Of course, I would be writing it with my own fun informal style giving you an honest and un-biased view on Malaysia’s community Airline!

Stay Tune for “Episode 1: The Sexy ATR-72” next week.

  3. aww.. don’t be so flattered, i want the prize! :P

  4. is it really safe traveling with this smaller plane? :D i know it sounded a bit cowardice, but i’ve always had a tiny bit issues with this kinda plane. and i know dangers are everywhere, but really, i’m terrified. maybe that’s why i haven’t tried this Firefly eventhough the airport is much nearer.

again, great blog! i like the template very much too.

  5. Hi Faida!

InsyaAllah it’s safe. I’ve been on a smaller plane (4 seater Cessna) and plenty of Firefly flights, it’s quite light and you feel like being part of the natural flow of air.

If you look from track record angle, accidents happen to all types of aircraft, big and small.

I always tell myself, the smaller the plane, the easier to glide and land at any field or highway if something bad happen. And the smaller it is, the less wiring, less electronics, less headache for pilots. But this is me physching up myself la… hehehe

  6. Good post. You’ve just confirmed what I’ve been thinking about this.
