My previous trip reports:
London Trip August 2008 – Day 1
London Trip August 2008 – Day 2
Odense, Denmark Trip – August 2008
I’m posting this from Heathrow Airport Terminal 3, a very-bad and old Terminal where all the ‘non-glamorous’ flights depart from. This airport makes the Alor Star and Senai airport seems like a world class infrastructure. Even the wi-fi access cost me RM70 for 24 hours.
Anyway, Copenhagen day trip turned out to be so-so thanks to the rain that poured all day- all night making my plan to rent a bike becoming just a plan. I ended up doing my own sightseeing based on tips I got from various websites and a map. And yes I survived it!
I stayed for one night in Copenhagen Quality Airport Hotel in Kastrup. A very basic hotel that costs me a bomb. RM800++ per night.

Copenhagen is a beautiful place, not as relaxed as Odense but it has its own personality being a classic city with modern traits.

I regret not being able to tour the whole city but I managed to squeeze every second of time that I can get.

Amazing structures, even after so many years only interior refurbishment was done to maintain the authenticity and original look of the exteriors.

I’m bad at remembering names but I’m sure you can locate these places from many available tour sites. I’m just here to share what I saw from my point of view
Here is the former “Red Light District. Beautiful stretch with cafes and you can take a romantic cruise touring the city through the canals. Amazing.

There are many street shows at many of the “squares and it’s cool place for people watching.

Halal food is also not that diffuclt to find which is a good news for Muslim visitors. Here in this photo i was eating….

hehehe…it’s Halal…Kebabish, one nice restaurant where I had

Lamb Briyani and my favourite Indian dish.

Touring the city on heavy rain and windy weather, temperature was at low 12 degrees.

I want more, I will be here again one day
I’ve heard so many good things about Sweden and other Scadinavian countries, I’m setting my 2009 travel calendar.
This is the last part of my Trip Report. Will be back in the office on Monday. It’s been a great trip and I’m itching for more adventure already.

“I purposely asked for an aisle seat hoping to have a good seat partners and it turned out that i was seated next to a senior citizen who wrestled away the arm rest from the very first second.”
is there a reason as to why they don’t design two arm rests for the middle?
It’s fun if you have a ‘partner’ that you want to hit on…hehehehe…that’s where Air Asia’s free seating can be fun
