“Baby-Steps” towards a Long Journey…

In my world, my life, there have been many milestones. There are many days I remember as the beginning of something new. First day in school, first day in uni, first day working, first day in a new house, first time in a plane, first date etc.

and being engaged is yet another milestone. The 1st step towards getting married is a huge milestone indeed. Last saturday (07.06.08), my family visited my GF (now fiancee)’s family for my engagement ceremony. Following Malay culture, I did not attend my own engagement ceremony. I had fun time with my best friend in Danga Bay while my whole family negotiating about my marriage etc. My mum did the honour of putting the ring on my GF’s finger.

Starting next week, i’ll start a new section on the blog. “Road to Marriage” will cover activities (a lot!) building up towards towards getting engaged and wedding day. Sort of like behind the scenes kind of blogging and photos Till then…life is back to normal….
