Breaking news from The Star Online
No it’s no longer an SMS rumours. It is being announced in Radio Era, Astro Awani and The Star Online. Petrol will be up by this midnight. Harga minyak naik! RM2.70!
damn it. while the whole Malaysia is thinking of cutting cost to survive, i am looking at ways to increase my income.
or maybe Pak Lah should just go easy on his initiatives. Does the govt really have no money at all? Im a strong UMNO and BN supporter but still there’s a limit.
what;s your views? How can i cut my fuel consumption?
a) Do not use Air-con on my early morning trips to the office?
b) Go out from home to the office a bit earlier to avoid traffic jam (hence less fuel being used)
c) Simply try to increase incole (side business, passive income) and cut cost (less eating out, less holiday)
It is a must for the subsidy to be removed as we are far away from market price in terms of fuel price. The problem is the hike should happen long time ago bit by bit so the effects wont be too bad. Now suddenly it goes up for 70+ cent, it hurts big time!
One thing i hate to see is politicians making this a big issue, come on la, if there is one time where Malaysian politicians (BN and Pakatan) can work together, this is the time. Understand that this move is for the sake of the country’s economy and do not use this as a political mileage and create more unstability. If i see any politician supporting rally or street demo, i’ll definitely lose hope against that particular politician.

Petrol to cost RM2.70 from midnightKUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi on Wednesday announced the new price for petrol is RM2.70 a litre, effective midnight tonight.
He announced that the price of petrol would be increased by 78sen and diesel by RM1.
The 40% increase in petrol price is part of the new fuel subsidy plan the Prime Minister announced at 5pm Wednesday.
The price of diesel goes up to RM2.58 from RM1.58.

Harga minyal tetap akan naik kerana harga pasaran dunia memang naik mencanak canak.
Tetapi wajarkah kerajaan menaikkan harga minyak dalam keadaan :
1) Pengangkutan awam negara sangat teruk ( bad time management, perkhidmatan terbatas )
2) Harga kereta Malaysia antara termahal di dunia, begitu juga harga spare parts.
3) Tol bersepah sepah. Makin naik ade la.
Di Thailand, walaupun minyak mahal, jalan tiada tol dan harga kereta murah.
Di Jepun, minyak ikut harga pasaran dunia tapi harga kereta murah sangat tapi tol mahal dan parking mahal tapi GAJI derang juga mahal !!!! Tiga kali ganda Malaysia !!
Malaysia ?
Sekarang, menteri kita nak bandingkan dengan negara mana nak tunjukkan Malaysia lebih baik ?
Nepal ? Myanmar ?
Zimbabwe ?
atau Antartika !!!?

Biar betul! macam tak percaya…tapi memang aku dah tgk dgn mata mata kepala aku sendiri kat berita harian…issh kejam giler..kerajaan cuba menyedapkan keadan degan meemberi sedikit subsidi kepada pemilik motokar..peh! bijak sungguh..yg paling aku takut bukan setakat kenaikan tuu..tapi harga barang lain pun mungkin ikut naik…aduh…diorang ni tak belaja ekonomi ke..ape? Petronas makin lama makin buncit perut……takde inisiatif untik cover keuntungan atas harga minyak ke? kita bukan import minyak beB…negara kita penegeluar minyak! macam mana boleh jadi macam i…tension nyer aku…
bodoh btul la kerajaan sekarang!! x pikir ka rakyat2 yang berpendapatan rendah… diorang x pa la.. gaji bulan pun dah boleh hidup setahun!!!! bengong!!!
Bengang tul aku minyak naik sampai camtu, nyusahkan hidup rakyat malaysia jer terutamanya aku ni!! kesian aku tgk rakyat² kena beratur isi minyak tadi!!! ada yang sampai abih minyak terpaksa kena tolak cara manual. aku tunggu sampai 3jam lebey baru leh isi minyak. 3jam tu dah leh smpai kampung aku yg jauh 150km tapi tadi 3 jam sia-sia beratur isi minyak sejauh 100m jer. oleh itu, sudah sampai masanya kita tukar kerajaan kepada kerajaan yang lebih baik dan tidak pentingkan diri sendiri!!! paklah diminta berundur atau turunkan balik harga minyak!!!!!!!!
Apa masalah ngan orang malaysia sekarang, kalau minyak naik salahkan Petronas, apasal tak salahkan Goverment je. Banyak syarikat minyak lain yang berniaga kat malaysia nie Shell,Caltex, Exxon Mobil, Bhp, haaa tu bukan syarikat mat salleh yang menyebabkan harga minyak naik kenapa syarikat minyak kita nak tanggung insentif tu plak suruhla company mat salleh yang tanggung, Goverment tu satu hal la. Jangan beli minyak luar, korang semua yang create bende ni.

To janjanjala its not rocket science to figure out that other products in the market might increase…of coursela it will definitely increase…
go to pemuda umno’s kawasan enggang website… they even put statistics regarding the price of oil in oil producing nations…so stupid they think we can’t get or read statistics which are in significance with Malaysia ah…
the statistics posted by the mainstream media today only pointed out the other nation which does not even produces oil….!!!!

it seems like they think us as being a stupid monkey who never went to school…
if u can analyse this decision thoroughly, the implications coming from the socio-political side i tell u there would definitely be havoc…
since Malaysians still have alot of low income earners and most are still kais pagi makan pagi and kais petang makan petang semua akan start finding other ways to ends meet la…(even though benda tu salah or tak -i guess ramailah yg akan masuk pusat serenti nanti) you know kan sekarang pun masalah beras pun belum reda where alot of people tend to sorok beras…macamna la plak when all of the other products naik???

kita tak perasan as we think benda ni tak teruk tapi cuba lihat…we don’t have taufan, takde tsunami, takde gempa bumi tapi we have alot of shortages especially with food…
Makan sepinggan nasi in shah alam pun have reached RM1.50 tak termasuk lauk lagi…aduh…i baru dapat news from a relative (a great aunt of mine) who went back at kampung. Dia cakap kesian tgk orang kampung bila dah dapat duit dari anak-anak untuk beli beras, berasnya pula takde…
see kita kat sini bandar at least we can leave without eating rice tapi org kampung mereka ni mmg makan nasi jela kenyang untuk mereka…and the kerajaan said they will give individual subsidies to motorcyclist and low income earners…eh the low income earners kat kl pun tak abis ditolong ni nak tolong the whole nation’s low earners…
I think i will wait till i tumbuh janggut pun takan berupayala the kerajaan…
eh tenaga electric pun naik tau…
the nation uses gas to generate electricity…
and don’t start me with the IPP…
i think all managers in TNB mesti tahu sejak penubuhan IPP la bermulalah zaman kegelapan bagi Tenaga Nasional….
and I agree 110% with ‘pak lah tido’…
again the government think we are stupid but they are actually the one who are stupid…they’ll see how this decision will double cross them in the end…

at least the state government of Selangor pun are reducing the water tariffs….

i hope this coming august 2008 would be our truce….
and i hope and pray that this upcoming Malaysia’s birthday will unite us whole heartedly and not like every year merdeka where it was only supported by the malays (and not forgetting the mat indons, banglas, nepals etc.)

you see im living in Ampang and the recent rumah terbuka that the state government held was astonishing…
seriously all Malays, Chinese and Indians with or without title celebrated together as one and listening intently to the possibilities and plans of this new future leaders…
and it actually gave tears to me…
this was the first time i saw that all races were one!!!
and i also know from friends that other states driven by the oppositions are also in that remarkable state…
I wish, I hope and I pray again that this scene but with a larger crowd would remake and write history again…
U see if we start understanding the base and true rationality of politics we can understand that politics are not the culprit… Its the decision made by a politician which was validated in terms and in commanding thoughts for its rakyat is the one that counts…and it does not seek that path he is the one who is the culprit…and it is us the rakyat who voted for these culprit are also responsible to those decision…
wake up and smell the roses everybody…again if we had showed true vices from the last general election this decision would not have taken place…politics is a rule of life and many scholars believe that it is also a way of life…that is why Islam always played politics hand in hand within its teachings…kenapala kita tak ambil pengajaran dari kisah2 nabi??? this PM are really useless in short 4 years period he has increase the oil price rapidly wajar ke buat demikian ? untuk mendapat banyak lagi duit pocket ?
nak tanye…ade berapa bnyk syarikat yg bertanggungjawab gali minyak kat Malaysia? klu ade ? berapa percent (jumlah) cukai yg kerajaan terima? ade sape2 boleh jawab..
