Sydney 2008 – Part 2: Sights and Sound of Sydney

This is the continuity of Part 1. This post will be full of photos. I have re-sized the photos and the total size of all will be less than 1MB. It should take about 1 minute to load everything on a broadband connection, so please be patient yea!

In this second part of my Sydney Adventure 2008, I will be sharing some interesting sights that I saw in Sydney mainly captured by my brother’s DSLR camera. I’ll let the photos do the talking, and do leave your comments yea!

I like the way buildings in Sydney are being maintained to preserve its originality and classic image. Even in the Central Business District, the newer buildings blend with the old buildings with unique yet simple architecture.

The University of Technology Sydney Building

Typical skyscraper office building and apartments

A must in every great city…

Sydney Tower

Queen Victoria Building

Even Starbucks look cool in this old-looking building

And of course..the Icon, Sydney Opera House

Beautiful!

And the other amazing sights of Sydney from the trip…

Slooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwww mail anyone?

Smart for 12?

Cool ad. ‘Tongkat Ali’ ka?

Street performers. I salute them for the extra effort in earning extra ka-ching! Not many beggars can be seen which is a good thing. Yes beggars and homeless do exists but that;s for another story at another time.

…but my favourite performer would be this guy, who earned my 2-dollars! Creative approach, 2 guitars at once :)

A job that I don’t mind having, a charity that I don’t mind giving… :P

Litter is a must in every modern city.

Life at a fast lane

….life at a not so fast lane, coolest lock ever!

Sydney is a great place to visit. JetStar is flying from Kuala Lumpur to Sydney (and obviously Syd-KL as well) at a very affordable price. When JetStar started flying to KL, they run this advertisement of a joy girl making a star jump over the excitement of Sydney,

….at that time of seeing this ad I was wondering, how fun can Sydney be?

Now I got the answer, it is one fun place!
