Time-Out: A short-note on Travel Plans and SIFE in Malaysia

I’m taking a time-out from my Aceh Adventure series (Part 4 to be posted on Tuesday).

In the meantime, i’m planning on a couple of more adventures to fill my travel calendar for 2008:

a) A short trip down-under in May (Confirmed -pending leave approval)
b) A short local weekend trip to check out places in places around Penisular Malaysia
c) A trip to one of AK(Air Asia) destination in July. I’m looking at Siem Reap or Bali or Bandung. (Waiting for AK Next sale and looking for travel partner (hint: jomla…))

d) On a slightly different note, SIFE season is back on with SIFE Malaysia National Competition scheduled to be held in June and SIFE World Cup to be held in Singapore 1st – 3rd October 2008.

I’m planning to attend both the events but this is subject to my schedule at that time as June will be a busy month for me and October 2nd will be Eid Celebration.

In the meantime, i’m inviting any SIFE teams in Malaysia, and other international SIFE teams to do projects in Banda Aceh, Indonesia. During my visit to Acheh, i see many opportunities to for short-term and long-term charity activities in this part of the world that was heavily destructed by Tsunami in 2004. I do have contacts that can make arrangement and me myself is very interested in doing my personal charity bit in Aceh. Do e-mail me if any SIFE team is interested.
