The joy of 5.30pm and friday….

For the last 5 years being a “student”, i see everyday as almost the same. I mean, i can still go out for cinema or malls or just hang out on any day that i like after or in between classes. So at that time, i don’t really appreciate weekends and public holidays that much.

 Things have changed quite drasticly once i start my working life. First, no one leaves the office at 5.30pm although its a contractual thingy. To be honest, i don’t really mind staying back as i’ll avoid the traffic rush hours as well as catch up on work but it all depends on productivity level. To me what’s the point in staying back till 10pm when your mind is already somewhere else.

 Anyway, now that i’ve entered the so call ‘business world’ i really deeply appreciate weekends. There is this superb feeling of driving back from office enjoying the music and flow of cars passing by around you. You feel relaxed, stress-free and ready to hit home for nice dinner and bed. The same goes for friday nights where only the worst can spoil my good mood…

 the bad thing is the next morning, everything starts again….i need to get used to this..
